Danielle Dannenberg is a visual and creative artist based
in Boulder, Colorado.
As a child, I dreamt of becoming an artist, an actress, a writer. I have always wanted to make art. Yet over the past fifteen years, I let the tide of achievement carry me into a corporate career. I recently rediscovered that the act of ‘making’ fills me up in a wholly different way. It allows me to come back to center and tap into a deep creative awareness — attuned to both the anguish of life and enchanted by its beauty. I use color, form, and language to tell stories of the human experience.
Current projects include a couple of painting collections, a stage adaption of a novel about a 19th century botanist, a musical to honor the history of Roots music, and a biography of a dear friend.
I am excited to share my work in acrylics, watercolors, clay, and words with you.
